Outdoor

Outdoor mishaps, blunders and eyesores. What happens outdoors…stays on WhooKnoo for a really, really long time.

Indoor

Nothing says tacky like 70′s wallpaper and tourist trap tchotchke’s, and we’re on the prowl for the worst of it.

Baby & Kids

We shudder to think what can befall the youngest among us, but sometimes it’s good for a harmless chuckle at their expense.

Pets & Animals

Loyal and loving, most pets are adults at 2 years of age, but they still can’t open a can of food without our help.

Go Green

We’re all for preserving the planet, and you should be too unless you’ve got someplace else to live… Yah, we didn’t think so.

4 Ways to Fly for Cheap(er)

If you are like most people, you have probably already accepted the fact that anytime you need to fly anywhere it is going to end up costing you an arm and leg.  Don’t give up the fight so easily!  It’s true that riding in an airplane is always going to cost you a decent chunk of change –  but nevertheless –  there are ways to reduce the amount of dough you have to shell out.  Here are easy and honest ways to save a few bucks on your next flight

  • Are you planning a trip with someone who is a senior citizen?  If so, check to see if your airline offers any sort of a senior citizen discount.  If they do, both you and your elderly friend might be eligible for the discount!
  • If either you or a family member is in the military, you once again may be eligible for a discount.  Even better – arrive at the airport dressed in your military uniform. It’s quite possible that your airline will give you a discount.
  • This isn’t exactly a money saving tip – rather, it is a tip to help you save money while flying in style.  Never be afraid to ask your airline how much it would cost to upgrade your seat to first class.  You can commonly find first class flights for as little as $25 extra.
  • If you want to purchase the cheapest tickets possible, try calling the airline at midnight on Wednesdays.  This is because many airlines release their new fares at this time, which means if you call them immediately, you can get a nice jump on anyone else who is in the market for plane tickets.
