Outdoor mishaps, blunders and eyesores. What happens outdoors…stays on WhooKnoo for a really, really long time.

Indoor

Nothing says tacky like 70′s wallpaper and tourist trap tchotchke’s, and we’re on the prowl for the worst of it.

Baby & Kids

We shudder to think what can befall the youngest among us, but sometimes it’s good for a harmless chuckle at their expense.

Pets & Animals

Loyal and loving, most pets are adults at 2 years of age, but they still can’t open a can of food without our help.

We’re all for preserving the planet, and you should be too unless you’ve got someplace else to live… Yah, we didn’t think so.

4 Tips for Keeping Mosquitoes Away

One of the best annoying parts about summer has got to be mosquitoes fluttering around and invading your personal space.  It’s a terrible feeling to wake up in  the morning have your body be decorated with tons of itchy and unsightly bumps.  If you’re unlucky enough to have ever been bitten on your face you know the true devastation that a simply bug bite can bring.  With that in mind, humans aren’t completely defenseless against mosquitoes – there are actually many natural and simple ways to help keep the bugs at bay.  Here are tips that might just help make your summer a little less annoying.

1. Burn a candle – The easiest and perhaps most effective way to keep mosquitoes out of your space is to simply burn a citronella candle.  There’s a reason this is one the most popular methods for keeping mosquitoes away – it is very effective!  Don’t spend too much money on a citronella candle, you can commonly find decent ones at your local dollar store.

2. Know when they’re active – Mosquitoes are most active during the time periods when the sun is rising and setting.  So, if you really want to evade mosquitoes, try to refrain from being outside during these time periods.

3. Choose clothing wisely – Mosquitoes are attracted to darker clothing, so if you’re planning to spend a decent amount of time out doors, it might be a wise choice to dress in lighter colors.

4. Skip the perfume – If you’re the type of person that likes to use flowery scented soaps and perfumes you are inviting mosquitoes to come bite you!  Mosquitoes can sometimes be attracted to certain types of soaps, deodorants, and perfumes.
