Outdoor

Outdoor mishaps, blunders and eyesores. What happens outdoors…stays on WhooKnoo for a really, really long time.

Indoor

Nothing says tacky like 70’s wallpaper and tourist trap tchotchke’s, and we’re on the prowl for the worst of it.

Baby & Kids

We shudder to think what can befall the youngest among us, but sometimes it’s good for a harmless chuckle at their expense.

Pets & Animals

Loyal and loving, most pets are adults at 2 years of age, but they still can’t open a can of food without our help.

Go Green

We’re all for preserving the planet, and you should be too unless you’ve got someplace else to live… Yah, we didn’t think so.

Four Easy Ways to Have a Healthy and Green Pregnancy

Every expecting mother has the same wish:  to experience a safe, uneventful, and joyful pregnancy.    Here are four easy tips that will help to fulfill all three of those goals (and also help out Mother Nature at the same time):

  1. Try Practicing Yoga – Yoga is known for its ability to help clear away stress and provide one with a clear mind.  Many yoga studios offer special classes for pregnant women.  If you already have other kids you are taking care of, try purchasing a yoga DVD that you can do at home (like this one on Amazon.com).
  2. Use Personal Care Products that are Non-Toxic – All products from your shampoo to your nail polish should be completely non-toxic.  Some common toxins in personal care products include, but aren’t limited to:  odium lauryl sulfate, phenylenediamine, toulene, coal tar, and more.  Remember, your skin absorbs these products directly into your blood stream.  Don’t put anything on your skin you wouldn’t also want your baby to use.
  3. Try an All Organic Diet – There is no better time to start eating organic then when you are pregnant!  Pesticides that are sprayed on all kinds of produce are not what you want to be feeding your baby.  Nowadays, organic produce is widely available, so switching to an all organic diet shouldn’t be too difficult.
  4. Use All-Natural Cleaning Products – Even if you aren’t pregnant, switching to all-natural cleaning products is a great way to improve your health and general well-being.  Just like organic foods, it’s not hard to find all natural cleaning products.  Check out brands like Seventh Generation for all of your green cleaning product needs.

Whooknoo it could be so easy to make pregnancy so much healthier?
